EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COOLSCULPTING

CoolSculpting® is a leading fat freezing (cryolipolysis) treatment which is one of the best methods capable of freezing fat without harming surrounding tissues resulting in safe, permanent fat destruction. It is scientifically proven to contour your body by freezing unwanted fat and our expert aestheticians at Eterno 360º in Berkshire are specially trained to ensure you get the very best results from your treatment.

If you’re looking for alternative options for Liposuction or a Tummy Tuck, it can be difficult to know what non-surgical treatments will work for you. Many of our patients are looking to enhance their natural body shape, remove stubborn fat and experience a renewed confidence without surgery. If this sounds like you, CoolSculpting® could be the answer. But what is CoolSculpting? Find out everything you need to know below.

How does CoolSculpting work?

Fat freezing is the non-surgical alternative to Liposuction. The treatment works by placing a gel pad and applicator on a specified area of the body to deliver controlled cooling to the targeted fat cells. That fat is then frozen, shattered and destroyed. The average treatment time is just 10-20 minutes and is completed in the clinic safely and effectively. In the few weeks after the treatment, your body reabsorbs the remnants, and you see a gradual improvement in the contour of the treated area over this time period, with a stable outcome by three months.

The CoolSculpting® fat-freezing procedure can reduce the number of fat cells in multiple treatment areas by up to 27% after 6 months*. These fat cells are naturally processed and eliminated through the body, so they won’t migrate to another area of your body, so there’s no change to fat cells in untreated areas.

How do I know if CoolScultping is right for me?

CoolSculpting® is a safe and effective treatment for reducing body fat in many people, however it is not a treatment for obesity. Instead, it is best used on small amounts of extra fat which have not responded to diet and exercise. CoolSculpting® is often used to target excess fat under the chin (double chin), the abdomen, thighs and the lower back, especially love handles. It gives natural looking results without the need for invasive surgery.

What is the Aftercare for a coolsculpting treatment?

Aftercare is very straightforward - you do not need to wear a garment or take time off work. Generally patients are able to drive immediately, wash and exercise the following day. There will be some swelling to the treated area for the first couple of days, the skin can feel sensitive to the touch and you may experience bruising and itching. However, this is all normal and settles by itself.

We recommend anyone considering CoolSculpting® attends a free assessment with our specialist, who can explain how many treatments you will need, how long it will take, the likely outcome and cost.
