WHY EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THE HYDRAFACIAL
Written by Fulvio Urso-Baiarda co-founder and plastic surgeon at Eterno 360, Eton, Berkshire
The HydraFacial™ is one of our favourite facial treatments at Eterno 360º and is also a celebrity favourite - it’s the glowy skin secret behind Beyoncé, Kate Winslet and Paris Hilton’s flawless complexion. Our highly qualified aesthetic nurses will tailor bespoke ingredients to suit your skin needs, help you achieve a glorious skin glow and ultimate skin health, no matter what your skin type.
How does the HydraFacial™ work?
Patients often ask me if their skin type is suitable for a HydraFacial and in short, the answer is yes! The treatment process follows three simple steps to help you reach optimum skin health. All treatments begin with lymphatic drainage that improves the circulation of the lymph system and helps to eliminate toxins. Firstly, the cleanse and peel - uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing. Secondly, the extraction and hydration - remove debris from pores with painless vortex extraction. Nourish with intense moisturisers that quench skin. Lastly, fuse and protect the skin - saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow. To do this, the facial finishes with red and infrared LED light to reduce redness and further stimulate collagen, supporting the natural production of vitamin D. The best part? It’s suitable for all skin types.
Can I combine the HydraFacial™ with other cosmetic treatments?
Some cosmetic treatments such as Micro-Needling SkinPen™ or Obagi™ Blue Radiance Peels can leave the skin feeling tight like a sunburn for a few days or weeks following your treatment. Although they are fantastic at targeting fine lines, deep wrinkles, acne, shrinking pores, visible scarring, sun damage and pigmentation and stretch marks to create smoother, rejuvenated looking skin, you may find your skin is craving some extra hydration to nourish and soothe the skin. The HydraFacial™ is an extremely gentle treatment that will bring back your skin’s radiance following a treatment that disrupts the dermal layer.
Cosmetic treatments do not, and should not follow a ‘one size fits all’ method. If a facial is not tailored to compliment your skin type, there is a risk the ingredients could cause irritation, redness and breakouts. Although the HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types, I would recommend always choosing a qualified cosmetic nurse who knows your skin to perform your treatment. Your aesthetic nurse will help you choose from three serum boosts:
DERMABUILDER BOOST - Minimises signs of ageing and recharges skin with a combination of peptides.
GLYSAL BOOST - Minimises congestion of pores and improves superficial acne scars.
BRITENOL BOOST - Minimises the appearance of dark spots and sun spots for an even complexion.
You can consult your Eterno 360° nurse who will help you create the best hydradermabrasion treatment for your skin, so you can achieve optimum results and achieve a glorious skin glow.
